Mark Vallianatos works on innovation at LA Metro. He is Project Director of Metro’s Traffic Reduction Study of the potential for congestion pricing, reinvestment in transportation, and assistance programs in Los Angeles County. Mark also oversees Metro’s strategic planning work, including ongoing development of a 3-year strategic action plan to set priorities through 2028. Before joining Metro, he worked and taught on a range of urban policy issues including housing, planning, transportation and environmental justice. Mark received his BA and JD from the University of Virginia.
