Tammy Lee assumed her position as the Hawaii Department of Transportation's (HDOT's) deputy director for administration in December 2022, having previously served as the organization's administrative services officer. Lee has also held management roles within HDOT’s administration program as its business management officer and contracting officer. In her many years of service with HDOT, Lee has improved processes for hiring, contracting and fiscal management. Notable projects Lee has been responsible for include the upgraded financial management system, H-4, set to launch next fall, the electric bicycle and electric moped rebate program, and the Hawaii road usage charge demonstration.
