Tim Hoover is deputy director of communications at the Colorado Department of Transportation. In addition to managing a team of communications employees, his duties also include managing communications for Colorado's Express Lanes system and its Mountain Rail Project, electric and automated vehicle programs, micromobility programs, climate programs and other issues. Hoover is a former newspaper reporter who worked at major metro dailies for more than 20 years, most of that spent covering state politics and policy, before entering communications.
